As we expand our event offerings, we seek a Director of Sales & Events (DSE) to drive revenue growth, lead strategic sales initiatives, and oversee seamless event execution. About the Role:


The Director of Sales & Events will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and ensure the successful planning and execution of events at Origin Park. This role requires both a sales leader and an event management expert—someone who can drive revenue while maintaining the highest standards of service.

As a key member of our leadership team, the DSE will collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences. This position also supervises the Associate Director of Sales & Events and plays a pivotal role in expanding our client base.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to position our offerings effectively.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals to potential clients.

Event Management:

  • Oversee the full event lifecycle from planning to execution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of logistics, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Develop and enforce event policies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide post-event evaluations and recommendations for future improvements.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor the Associate Director of Sales & Events and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
  • Partner with finance to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service to enhance client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within the events or hospitality industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in event management or planning.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or event management software is a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
